Trekking in Morocco has to be one of the best ways to discover this intoxicating country, getting off the beaten track and exploring the Atlas Mountians visiting traditional Berber villages that have changed very little in centuries, climbing Mt Toubkal and scaling 4000m peaks makes Morocco a great destination for Adventure.
Mount Toubkal Summer Ascent
At 4,167m, Mount Toubkal is the highest mountain in North Africa. The climb to the summit is challenging, but it requires little mountaineering experience the panoramic views from the summit over the High Atlas are truely outstanding.
After our arrival in Marrakech we have short transfer to the berber village of Imlil where we begin our trek and slowly make our way to the Toubkal Refuge we pass through terraced fields and remote villages which give us a great insight into berber life.
After a night at the refuge we start our final steep summit ascent of Mt Toubkal as you gain altitude you are rewarded with dramatic views over the Atlas Mountains and Marrakech. Once on the summit of North Africa's hightest mountain you will be totally exhilarated by your sense of achievement.
Toubkal Summer Ascent (3 days)
Day 1: Transfer from Marrakech to Berber village of Imlil, Trek to the Toubkal Refuge.
Day 2: Summit Toubkal and trek back to Imlil, overnight local gite.
Day 3: Transfer to Marrakech.

Day 5: Transfer to Marrakech, free time for shopping before flight home.

Toubkal Winter Climb & Winter Skills
Winter is a great time in the Mt Toubkal National Park it offers a true winter mountaineering experience the mountains are virtually deserted apart from the local Berbers and mountaineering enthusiasts.Our Winter climb is great introduction to winter walking, the use of crampons and ice axe are required on most trips and you will get plenty of time to practice your winter skills before summit day, our trips is designed as a non-technical winter climbs. Some winter walking experience is recommended before joining this trip but not essential.
Our 5 and 7 day winter ascents of North Africa’s highest mountain offer you the chance to experience the High Atlas at there very best.Climbing Mount Toubkal(4167mt)and Quanoukim(4088mt) is an exhilarating challenge that requires little winter mountaineering experience and the rewards are truly outstanding.
Winter Ascent (5 Days)
Day 1: Arrival Marrakech. Transfer from Marrakech to the berber village of Imlil.
Day 2: Walk from Imlil to the Toubal Refuge, Practise winter skills.
Day 3: Aclimbatsation day and practice winter skills.

There's an endless list of activities for those in need of an adrenalin rush such as Quad Biking, Horse Riding, Surfing and Kite Surfing. We have teamed up with a local Kite surf & surf school so you can combine your Toubkal climb with learning to Kite Surf.
