High-Wire Forest Adventure

COME AND TRY OUR HIGH WIRE FOREST ADVENTURE.

This is a giant assault course high up in the trees (15-18m), using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire, and to top it all off with some of the longest zip wires in the country.

All safety kit is provided i.e. harnesses, pulleys and karibiners, and a full 30 minute safety briefing and training session is given prior to letting you loose into the forest canopy, free to swing through the trees. Instructors are always on hand, regularly patrolling the forest.

This experience is an adrenalin pumping, adventure activity, gets people out of their comfort zones and is an awesome family or stag and hen activity. This is one of Wales best activities.

Duration The acativity lasts for between 2-3 hrs and if we'er not too busy we may be able to let you go around again at no extra charge.

PARTICIPANT RESTRICTIONS 

Min age - 10yrs

Min height - 1.4m (4ft7'')

Max weight - 20.5 stone (130kg)

The max number of participants per session is 14 but if number exceed this we can split group and run at 30min intervals. We use harnesses to make sure you're safe throughout your time on the forest adventure. The maximum waist measurement of the harness is 110cm and the leg loops (which go around the top of your thighs) is 70cm.

Under 18yr olds must be supervised by a participating adult.

One participating adult can supervise EITHER two under 18 yr olds (where one or both children are 10-15 years old) OR up to five 16-17 year olds. Participating adults may not supervise from the ground.

Fitness

The high wire forest adventure does require a degree of  physical fitness but if you can climb up a rope ladder you should be fine.

What to wear?

We suggest that you wear something you don't mind getting grubby or even slightly damaged. Dress for the weather. Please wear appropriate footwear with soles and good grips. No sandals or slip off shoes permitted. Ankle supporting boot are best but not essential. Long hair must be tied back. Body piercings should be removed or taped over and midriffs should not be bare as harnesses may chafe. You may wish bring change of clothing for journey home.
