Book and Travel with Confidence
As well as carefully crafting amazing and meaningful adventures across the planet, we’ve made booking them as flexible, safe and as simple as possible. With the ongoing impact of COVID-19, we’ve made a number of updates to our safety guidelines, flexible booking conditions and trip departures.
So, whether you’re planning a last-minute escape or planning further ahead, whenever you’re ready to book your next trip, we’re with you every step of the way. Ensuring not only your safety and well-being but that of our leaders, crew and the communities we visit, always. Plus giving you peace of mind with your booking.
Here’s the top 6 reasons why booking with us will give you peace of mind:
1. Total flexibility
As we’ve seen, things can chop and change quickly, so we’re here to reassure you. As long as you notify us about changes to your travel plans at least 30 days before your scheduled departure you’ll be able to select one of the following options:
Free date changes
You can change your departure to a later date. We’ve added extra 2021 and 2022 dates to choose from, or you can request a new date that works for you or organise your own private bubble trip.
Flexible deposit
You can transfer your deposit to another available trip or hold your deposit on file indefinitely.
Convert it to credit
Save it for later. This, along with all payments, is 100% financially protected.
Get a refund
Being a small family business, we pride ourselves on personalised customer service and offer full and prompt refunds.
2. You can trust Adventurous Ewe
This year we’ve had to unfortunately postpone all our overseas adventures, and from a personal perspective, we’ve done what we can to help support some of our local crew financially. We’re proud to say that all our overseas travellers have either transferred their booking to a 2021 departure at no extra cost or received a full and prompt refund.
We’ve got you covered – financial protection
If your adventure needs to be cancelled for any reason, like say a global pandemic, you won’t be left stuck and you’ll be offered plenty of alternative options thanks to our financial protection arranged by Towergate Travel through Zurich Insurance PLC.
Plus, if you opt to book your flights through our Flight Agent, you’re covered as our agent is ABTA and ATOL accredited (ABTA P6746, ATOL 6053).
Secure online payments
All bookings can be made online with Mastercard, Visa and debit card or via BACS. You can also opt to pay via monthly instalments. We use WorldPay to handle all our online payments as it is a payment platform which is a global leader in payment processing offering superior security for both you and us as a company.
Pay in instalments, interest free
We’re well aware that adventures can be a significant investment so we’ve set out to make it easy to afford. Once you’ve put down your deposit, you can pay the remaining balance off in monthly instalments with no extra charges so you can get out there and live your dream.
3. Trip cancellations
Due to the ongoing global impact of COVID-19 and with many international borders remaining closed for an unforeseen period, Adventurous Ewe has cancelled all our overseas trips until at least 31 January 2021.
This global health crisis has impacted everyone enormously, so we want to ensure your future travel plans are safe whilst also reassuring you that we are committed to supporting you, our valued flock, in the best possible way that we can.
Cancelled trips
If you book on a trip that we are forced to cancel due to the pandemic, you will have the option to join another trip at a later departure with no admin costs or receive a full refund or credit note (excluding flights or insurance payments as these have their own booking conditions directly with the supplier).
Trips due to depart from February 2021 onwards
At present, these trips are still scheduled to depart as planned. We are monitoring the situation closely and will notify you at least two months prior to your scheduled departure date if your trips is cancelled or changed in any way. Rest assured, Adventurous Ewe carefully follows government travel advisories from our key traveller markets when making decisions about operating trips.
You choose to cancel your trip within 30 days of departure despite no official advice against travel
We respect your decision if you no longer wish to travel regardless of the destination or official advice. If you choose to cancel your trip, we will happily make those arrangements for you though please note, if there is no F&CO advice against travel, our standard cancellation terms will apply.
4. Travel insurance with COVID-19 cover
Travel insurance is compulsory for all our overseas expeditions. When arranging your policy we recommend that it not only overs you against medical and personal accident risks (to include repatriation costs and air ambulance or helicopter rescue services where appropriate), the activities you are undertaking, personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects but also now covers you for pandemics and epidemics including COVID-19.
For UK residents we have partnered with Campbell & Irvine to provide you with a travel insurance program that includes Covid-19 cover. Please refer to your booking confirmation or contact us for more information about a policy.
5. Travel with Confidence
#SafeTravels stamp
We are proud to have adopted the new global Safe Travels protocols with health and hygiene global standardised practices as produced by the World Travel and Tourism Council. Adventurous Ewe has received the World Travel and Tourism Council’s Safe Travels stamp, which provides travellers with assurance that we have implemented health and hygiene protocols that are aligned with WTTC’s Safe Travels Protocols.
We’re #GoodToGo
Following the COVID-19 Industry Standard in Partnership with The National Tourist Organisations of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, we have followed and implemented government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, ensuring processes are in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social/physical distancing.
6. Your safety
As we gradually return to running trips, the safety and well-being of you, our leaders, crew, suppliers and the communities we visit, we will remain our top priority and our return to operations will be done in a safe and responsible way. We are also proud to be implementing ATTA’s COVID-19 Health & Safety Guidelines, developed in collaboration with Cleveland Clinic, across all our trips. Please note, that our safety measures are not exhaustive and will evolve over time as we monitor and adapt to local and national public health recommendations and government guidelines.
